We all believe that the schools are the second home for children and their major portion of life is spent in schools only, and this is true also, but the schools in India don't provide personality development programs to students.
Students must be provided to work on their communication skills and personality development. Students in the rural areas are very unaware of these development programs, if any, taking place. All children need to be counselled and guided to enhance their self-confidence and eliminate the fear of public speaking.
Many of the students do not have self-confidence, which is why they have a lot of fear from public speaking. Personality is moulded by parental upbringing and how they are evolved in their school lives. Pre and primary schools are the foundation for students and then further enhanced once they reach the secondary level.
How to develop a personality?
1. Be a good listener: - There's nothing more appealing to hearing someone talk to you than makes you feel like you're the only person in the world who listens.
2. Be a good conversationalist: - Once you have more to contribute with others, learn a better way to communicate that to people around you in an effective and precise manner.
3. Be yourself: - moulding yourself according to others is useless as each person is unique in their characters, expressing their uniqueness with their different qualities and their nature. A carbon copy of others is useless, but having all the qualities and fulfilling the wishes you want is a personality. Personality is a thing which you should have to be one according to anyone, and it's the thing which you should be according to yourself, in the way you wanted to be.
4. Read more and expand your interests: - The more you read and create new interest, the more interesting you will become to others.
